Yes! I have had a passion for fashion and design since I can remember. After finishing my Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Economics, I knew that I wanted to pursue something more aligned with these two areas of interest. I completed an Associates Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City as well as an Interior Design Diploma.
What is so fascinating about these two disciplines that people don't realize is that they are closely linked. Both fashion and design, at their core, and done well, are about understanding the same things. From scale and proportion to composition and color combinations, to textures and visual interest - the principles remain.
Wether it's real estate you are considering purchasing (checkout our Dream Dwell House Hunting Program), a room that just doesn't work for your lifestyle or family, or curating a wardrobe - understanding how to utilize these principles is paramount. Having someone who can create and convey this vision for you is what I do!
Personal shopping and stylist services begin with a dialogue. This is the most important part because in order to serve you I need to first understand your concerns, get to know you and what is important to you and finally be sure that our sessions solve the problem!
Wether it's feeling stuck or uninspired by your wardrobe or space, working with me will change that. To be honest, this is my 'Why'. It is why I do this work and why I am so passionate about it. I have seen the impact firsthand of people seeing themselves through a new lens with clothing. Watched the pride and ease of a family being able to utilize a space that didn't function beforehand after a room review. The magic of our environment, wether it's what we put on our bodies or the functional beauty of our home, is a powerful force in creating confidence and ease.
Here is the thing - nobody enjoys being on the clock, wether it's from my perspective or yours. The most important thing is that we both understand that our time together will deliver results!! Therefore, I can create a custom package for a client based on the desired results, but in general, hourly sessions aren't focused on that, which makes it hard to ensure we solve the problem. This is also something we will chat about when you set up a Meet and Greet.
Let's decide on the outcome you want to achieve and make sure that it gets done. Wether it's reviewing a room that 'just doesn't seem to work' for you, finding the perfect piece of art for your office, or knowing that you have endless outfit combinations in your closet that make you feel empowered and inspired - I promise you, noone will be looking at the clock - only the results!
It's all about the process!! Truly though - having a clearly defined process is so incredibly important to me and for my clients. It allows for open communication, clearly defined deliverables and sets the expectations for what you can expect of me and what I will deliver to you.
The first step is meeting and discussing exactly what your concerns and frustrations are and what problems you are trying to solve. Wether its a newer house that you feel is lacking in personality or an older home that you struggle to function in or want to renovate but don't know where to begin? - I am here to help.
